Chris Morris (Rajasthan Royals) for 16.25 Crores: The South African allrounder is the most expensive player signing in entire IPL history. Morris the player who played for RCB in last season, took 11 wickets with 6.63 economy. He surpassed Yuvraj, who signed for Rs 16 crore with Delhi Daredevils in 2015. Morris has played 70 IPL matches and scored about 551 runs at a strike-rate of 157.88 and took 80 wickets.
Kyle Jamieson (Royal Challengers Bangalore) for Rs 15 crores: Royal Challengers Bangalore signed with New Zealand allrounder Kyle Jamieson for of Rs 15 crore. Jamieson played 6 Tests, 2 ODIs and 4 T20Is Internationals. He made his T20I debut against West Indies 2020. In 38 T20 matches, he has 54 wickets with economy of 7.98.
Glenn Maxwell Bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 14.25 crores: The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) starts the bidding action for Maxwell. Before Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made it a four-way race. He was signed by Bangalore (RCB). Maxwell was released by Punjab Kings, had a bad 2020 season. Jhye Richardson to Punjab Kings (PBKS) for Rs 14 crores: Australian fast bowler Jhye Richardson got a whopping IPL contract; he was signed by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) for Rs 14 crore. He had a good Big Bash season for Perth Scorchers. He was the leading wicket taker with 29 wickets from 17 games with an economy rate of 7.69.
Krishnappa Gowtham to Chennai Super Kings (CSK): Gowtham became as the highest earning uncapped player in IPL auction history. CSK bought his services for a whopping Rs 9.25 crores. K Gowtham played only two games for Punjab in the IPL 2020 season and he picked only one wicket. K Gowtham was recently called in as a reserved bowler for the Test cricket team for the series against England. He played in four Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy’s for Karnataka and picked four wickets.
